EMU’s Department of Public Safety recently
received reports of two
burglaries on the ground floor of the residence halls, where
room
windows were left open when rooms were unoccupied. Screens were
then cut
from the outside, allowing someone to reach in and steal items
from the
rooms.
DPS advises everyone to make sure their windows are secured
and their
doors locked when they leave their room.
Anyone who might have information about these burglaries should
call DPS
at 487.1222.
