Misson Statement
"The mission of the Eastern Michigan University Department
of Public Safety is to organize security and public activities
which enhance the quality of campus life, and protect life, property,
and individual rights."
The Eastern Michigan University Police Department is staffed
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to meet the needs of the University
community. The Department is located at 123 Structure drive on
the ground floor of the parking structure on the west side of
campus off of Oakwood street.
Eastern Michigan University Police Officers are vested with
full law enforcement powers and responsibilities, identical to
the local police or sheriff's department in your home community.
