Faculty Advisor
Development Program
The Faculty Advisor Development (FAD)
Program, lead by the Director of the Academic Advising
Center,
is open to any and all faculty advisors, department coordinators,
and department heads. The object of the training sessions
is to provide participants updated information in order to
meet the challenges and expectations of advising undergraduate
students.
Participants will be provided with information on key University
offices, policies, and procedures. It is also vital for
participants
to understand the General Education requirements.
The sessions are available during
the Spring and Summer semesters. Interested parties may schedule
an appointment, beginning in April, with the Administrative
Secretary by calling (734)487-3129 or by e-mail.
Please direct any questions regarding the program contents
to the Director of the Academic Advising Center by phone or
e-mail.
