What is PASS?
Promote Academic Survival and Success Program
(PASS) is a first-year, academic support program that
was designed to benefit students during their transition from
high school to college. Approximately 150 students will choose
to participate in the PASS Program this fall because it provides
them with block scheduling, free academic workshops, training
in study skills, academic monitoring, individualized instruction
and advising assistance. These students are eligible for PASS
because their high school gpa's and ACT/SAT test scores fall
below
the average in-coming freshmen.
The majority of students that participate in PASS successfully
move on to their sophomore year at Eastern Michigan University.
