*If you take this test at another test center, make sure you indicate that you need the essay. The test center will send the essay in to CLEP. CLEP will send the essay to EMU. Scores for the question portion and the essay portion are averaged (please allow 4-6 weeks to receive your final score).

Students taking CLEP exams are subject to all the limitations listed in the current Eastern Michigan University Undergraduate Catalog under "Alternative Methods for Earning University Credit".
