Program:
Apparel, Textiles and Merchandising is going to London and Paris! This 8-day course will provide students with an introduction to the global context of fashion. We will visit a variety of fashion markets, including world-famous department stores, visit museum collections, and tour garment and fashion districts in two great capitals. We will also take in a studio tour. This experiential opportunity will allow students to compare merchandising, customer relations and product presentations and observe how these elements come together-in the streets of London and Paris.
This program offers students an introduction to the diverse themes, perspectives and environments of European fashion capitals. Earn three
credits in ATM 439 Fashion Markets: London and Paris, or ATM 689 Workshop with Professor Cathryn Amidei.
Accommodation:
Hotels in London and Paris, room based on multiple
occupancy.
