All programs offer fall, winter and academic year options. Some also offer a summer term.

Program:
Take classes in a variety of subjects in English, or the local language. OPEN TO ALL MAJORS.

Using your Financial Aid on CIEE Programs:

CIEE does not have a Title IV Federal School code, which is needed in order to use your EMU financial aid. If you would like to use your EMU financial aid on these programs, you may do so only by informing CIEE that you wish to apply through their School of Record (Spelman College, Atlanta). This requires payment to CIEE of an extra processing fee of $370 (correct as of 11/23/05) and use of a Consortium Agreement (available from the offices of Financial Aid or Academic Programs Abroad). EMU institutional scholarships (eg. Regents) and Michigan Educational Trust (MET) funds may not be used with a Consortium Agreement.

Accommodation:

University residence and/or homestay; varies by program.

Program fees:

Variable program costs, payment is made directly to CIEE.

Application deadlines:
September 15 for Winter Programs
February 15 for Summer and Fall Programs
