EMU students who have been accepted to the MBA program are invited to apply for a ONE YEAR TUITION SCHOLARSHIP at Pozuelo de Alarcón campus of the ESIC School of Business & Marketing in Madrid, Spain.
Upon successful conclusion of the program, participants will earn the International MBA degree at ESIC and may transfer up to four courses (with prior approval from their EMU academic advisor) toward their MBA degree at EMU. All courses are taught in English.
Application Requirements:
• Admission to the MBA degree program at EMU
• GPA of 3.0 GPA for undergraduate work, 3.5 for any graduate work completed
• Some knowledge of Spanish preferred, but not required

• $200 Post-Acceptance Deposit

ESIC SCHOOL OF BUSINESS & MARKETING
The ESIC School of Business & Marketing was founded in 1965 and currently has over 4,000 students attending its 13 campuses (12 in Spain and one in Brazil). It offers undergraduate, graduate and executive business programs to Spanish and international students.
The EMU program is based at the flagship Madrid campus (
http://www.esic.es/general_sedes.asp?IdGesCentro=01 ), the first to be established, at Pozuelo de Alarcon. This campus, closely affiliated with the King Juan Carlos University, includes undergraduate and graduate studies, language studies and the ESIC Publishing House. The ESIC Publishing House, specializing in marketing, economics and business, has published over 300 books and releases an average of 25 new titles per year.
The IMBA program is taught entirely in English at Pozuelo de Alarcon. This program runs from early October to late July and consists of six phases or stages:
Phase 1: Business Basics.
Phase 2: Processes in Depth
a. Finance, Operations and Innovation, Marketing and Sales, Human Resources and Information Systems
b. International Finance and International Trade
Phase 3: Management and Leadership Skills
Phase 4: Integration of Processes: Business Management Laboratory (Simulator)
Phase 5: Business Project
Phase 6: Personlized Phase
Small classes, taught by faculty with wide business experience in national and international corporations, facilitate the debate and analysis of the above topics. The program emphasizes case studies and practical applications in order to develop the participants' analytical abilities. Students' decision-making skills are also strengthened through the use of the latest computer technology to simulate real business situations, especially during Phase 4.
