Semester and Year Exchanges

Eastern Michigan University students may attend ICN for one or two semesters for a cost equivalent to the costs at Eastern Michigan University. Students pay for EMU tuition and fees, plus a modest program and service fees. The courses taken at ICN appear on the EMU transcript as EMU courses with a study abroad designation.

Located in the northeast of France, 1.5 hours from Paris, ICN offers undergraduate programs taught in both English and French. With prior approval, the business courses can be used to satisfy EMU degree requirements, as well as the International Business major's study abroad requirement.

ICN Business School

formerly the “Institut Commercial de Nancy”, was created in 1905, by the University of Nancy and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Meurthe-and-Moselle. The ICN is a prominent member of the Chapter of Schools of Management from the French Conference of Graduate Schools (Grandes Ecoles) and a member of the ECRICOME Group. Recognized as one of the leading French Graduate Business Schools, the ICN is also an active member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

ICN Nancy, France Campus

The ICN is only a few minutes walk from the old town, with its cobblestoned streets and “art nouveau” architecture. The Carnot Square has a Christmas market in December and a fun-fair in April. The St. Epvre Square has many café terraces and restaurants. The Carriere Square leads to Nancy’s crown jewel, the Stanislas Square, a magnificent architectural achievement. It has been called the most symmetrical square in Europe. It is ringed by golden gates and in the middle is a statue of Stanislas, the last Duke of Lorraine and a former King of Poland. The Square has been recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site.

ICN Metz, France Campus

Located in the Metz Technological park area, this Campus operates in the midst of 200 innovative companies and a pool of other prestigious institutes of higher education or «Grandes Ecoles», such as SUPELEC, ESITC, ENSAM, and GEORGIA TECH.
