Intensive Spanish Language & Culture Program

in Mexico

Cost

Program Price: TBA
*Based on current exchange rate, subject to change*.

(*plus 7 hours of EMU tuition and fees.) Graduate credit is available.

Includes a one week cultural tour which includes all lodging and transportation, room and board with a Mexican family for six weeks as well as seminars, discussion groups, individualized instruction and practical experience.

Accommodations
Live with a Mexican family in a single-occupancy room. (Doubles only if it is absolutely necessary due to availability of host families.)

Program Includes:

  • Intensive Spanish Language Instruction
  • Lodging with a Spanish-speaking family in Querétaro for six weeks
  • Most meals in Querétaro
  • Lodging in cities other than Querétaro during the touring portion of the program
  • Transportation between cities during the touring portion of the program
  • Seminars and field trips
  • Cultural program
  • ISIC card
  • Health insurance

Bilingual Studies at EMU

In addition to the Spanish language program in Mexico, bilingual studies at Eastern Michigan University include the Bilingual Bicultural Teacher Education Programs (both BA and MA), the undergraduate group major in Language and International Trade, the MBA with International Concentration and MA in Language and International Trade.
