Negocia Business School, Paris

Advancia-Negocia Business School, Paris, France

International Students at Negocia

Program Overview:

Advancia-Negocia Business School - This business school consists of an undergraduate and a graduate division, which are called ACI (Academie Commerciale Internationale) and NEGOSUP (l'Ecole Superieure de Negociation Commerciale), respectively. NEGOCIA is located in the northwest corner of Paris, right outside the 17th arrondissement. It is one of the leading business schools in France and was founded by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1992. Each year about 1300 students and 3000 professionals, both French and international, attend NEGOCIA’s academic programs in Sales, Marketing and Business Negotiation.

PARIS - Known as the City of Lights, Paris is home to many world-famous landmarks and museums, such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral or go shopping in the Latin Quarter for some great bargains. Take a cruise on the Seine or stroll down the Champs-Elysees, while munching on a fresh baguette. Find out why poets, artists and some 16 million tourists a year (making Paris the most visited city in the world) have been drawn to this lively and historic city.

Accommodations
- Students participating in a program at ADVANCIA-NEGOCIA have several housing options available. Most students choose to apply for a room in the residence hall, which also houses students from other nearby universities. More adventurous students can find their own housing, either with a short-term apartment rental or as a paying guest in the home of a French family. The NEGOCIA staff offers assistance in locating a comfortable and affordable place to live.

In order to maintain full-time status, students choose a minimum of 24 ECTS units of coursework (equivalent to 12 semester credits at EMU). The learning process at NEGOCIA consists of academic courses, conferences, practical work and projects, case studies, company visits, and teamwork in international groups. All courses, except for French language classes, are taught in English.

ACI - NEGOCIA offers a semester program for undergraduates during the winter semester. A variety of courses are offered in the fields of Marketing, Management, Business Law and Corporate Finance, all concentrating on international aspects. Introductory, intermediate and Business French are also offered. Except for the French language classes and some advanced classes, all coursework is in English.
Important Dates - The fall semester runs from mid-September through mid-December. The spring semester (our winter) runs from the end of January through mid- to late-May.
