World Scholars Photo Contest

Show the us the world from your own unique perspective! Here's your chance to share your favorite study abroad pictures through the first annual Academic Programs Abroad World Scholars Photo Contest!

EMU World Scholars may submit up to TWO photos taken during their study aboard program (you can include any pictures taken on your own during the program...including any independent travel). Grand prize winners will be acknowledged in two categories - PEOPLE and PLACES.

Winning entries will be judged according to general artistic excellence, and the ability of the photo to convey the essence of the study abroad experience. Entries must conform to the following criteria:

  • PLACES: photos must captue a recognizeable international monument, landmark, work of art or landscape. Photos that capture EMU students in these locations will be judged especially highly.
