Munich

History and Art in Prague and Munich
February 22-March 2, 2008

Earn 3 hours credit in History or Art while touring these wonderful, scenic cities. We'll visit the major artistic sites and museums of these cities such as the Old City and Sternberg Palace gallery in Prague and the Alte and Neue Pinakotheks in Munich.
Historical sites include the Prague Castle, Vaclavske Namesti, sites of Hitler's Munich Beer Hall Putsch, and the Dachau concentration camp. Both art and history students will attend most of the program sites and museums. 2008 Program Fee: $1,149

London

British Studies Program in London
February 22-March 2, 2008


The Eastern Michigan University Department of Political Science Winter Break British Studies Program is designed to introduce undergraduate students to the law, politics, and culture of Great Britain. Students will be able to observe courts in session in one of the world’s great cities, and explore the culturally-rich environment of London. Earn three credits in political science with Dr. Bruce Carroll.

Paris Hospitality

Global Hospitality Management in London and Paris

The Global Hospitality Management course is heading to London and Paris. This 8 day tour will include market tours, a wine tasting, culinary experience at a local culinary institution and site visits to a variety of restaurants and lodging operations. This experiential course will provide students the opportunity to read about European style hotels and restaurants, wine or cheese making and then visit the sites where these products or services are produced.
