How Does Your Engine Run?

A Self-Regulation Group for Ages 8-12 based on The Alert Program.  You can download the official flyer.

A series of lessons and activities using sensorimotor techniques with cognitvie approaches will teach you and your child to:

  • Recognize arousal states as they relate to attention, learning & behavior.
  • Monitor, maintain, and change level of alertness for optimal participation during play, learning, social & self-help activities.
  • Expand the number of self-regulation strategies you can use in a variety of home, school & social settings.
  • Use a uniform language for recognizing and regulating arousal states.

10 sessions:  October 5th - December 7th

Monday Afternoons, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Cost:  $350 per child ($50 non-refundable deposit due at enrollment, remaining $300 due prior to first session)

Deadline for registration:  September 28th

No refunds for missed sessions.
