who are not U.S. citizens or who have transcripts from outside the United
States are subject to the deadlines for international students. International
applicants who need an I-20 should apply as early as possible.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early. Application to the University by the deadline does not guarantee admission
to the University. Some graduate programs may have earlier deadlines. Please check with the academic department for your program.
Note: Entering freshmen and transfer students,
who are admitted to a first bachelor degree program, will be automatically
considered for a scholarship if they are admitted for fall semester by
the following dates:
Incoming freshmen - February 15th
Incoming transfer - May 15th

Guest Students are not eligible to receive institutional or federal financial aid at Eastern Michigan University. There are, however, non-federal alternative loan programs that may be able to assist with the educational costs. Additional information can be found at: www.gradschool.emich.edu
