Admission Application Fee Waivers for Veterans

EMU is proud to waive the application fee for military veterans and current service members seeking admission to EMU. In order to take advantage of this fee waiver:

  1. Print a paper application for admission. Unfortunately, fee waivers are not available for students who apply online. Print the application for Undergraduate Admission or Graduate Admission.
  2. Indicate that you have served in the Armed Services and your dates of service
    • Undergraduate applicants indicate their service by completing question 11 on the application.
    • Graduate applicants indicate their service by completing a Veterans Fee Waiver Request and submitting it with their Application for Graduate Admissions.
  3. Submit the application to EMU Admissions before the start of the semester for which you are applying. For fastest processing, submit the application in person (401 Pierce Hall, Ypsilanti, MI) or by fax (734.487.6559). If you choose to submit your application by mail (Office of Undergraduate Admissions, P.O. Box 921, Ypsilanti, MI, 48197 or Office of Graduate Admissions, P.O. Box 970, Ypsilanti, MI 48197), allow 2-4 weeks for mailing and processing.
