Post Bachelor Teacher Certification Options
lf you have completed a bachelor's degree and NO teaching certificate, and would like to earn a first teaching certificate (provisional), and you will have successfully completed the Michigan Basic Skills Test prior to the semester for which you are applying, you are considered a post-bachelor's teacher preparation student.
lf you have completed a bachelor's degree and have NO teaching certificate and would like to earn a first teaching certificate (provisional), but are not eligible to apply as a post bachelor's teacher preparation student because you have not taken the Michigan Basic Skills Test, you are considered an undergraduate non-degree student.
lf you have completed a bachelor's degree and NO teaching certificate and would like to earn a first teaching certificate (provisional), but are not eligible to apply as a post bachelor's teacher preparation student, because your undergraduate GPA is under a 2.5, you are considered a second bachelor's degree student.
If you have a provisional certificate and wish to take courses leading to your professional certificate or an endorsement you are a graduate certificate student.
