Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 2.0-2.69 are eligible for non-degree enrollment.
This application type is common for students who need to take additional undergraduate classes to prepare for admission to a graduate program, second bachelor’s program or teacher preparation program. Non-degree students with an undergraduate GPA of 2.7 or higher should apply as graduate non-degree students.
Admission requirements: EMU application, $35 application fee, official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended.
For students who already have a bachelor’s degree and want to pursue another one. Students must have a bachelors degree from an accredited University.

Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree, do not have a teaching certificate and would like to earn an intial teaching certificate (provisional) are eligible for post-bachelor enrollment. Students must have earned a 2.5 undergraduate GPA for admission. Students with a GPA below 2.5 must apply to EMU as a second bachelor’s student.
