Academic Scholarships
Eastern Michigan University will award millions of dollars in academic scholarships this year. Our Office of Financial Aid automatically awards scholarships to qualified freshmen who are admitted by March 1 of their senior year. Freshman applicants who are admitted after March may receive scholarships based on availability of funds.

- Education First Scholars Days are designed to help high school students with strong grades earn new scholarships or increase the amount of EMU scholarships they have already been awarded. Get information or register today!
- EMU awards scholarships automatically to admitted seniors who have a 3.0 or higher GPA and an ACT composite score of 20 or higher (950 SAT math + CR). Students must be admitted to EMU by March 1 of their senior year to qualify automatically. Visit our Office of Financial Aid for details on automatic-qualifier scholarships.
- Thousands of EMU students receive scholarship money throughout their college careers from EMU academic departments and private scholarship programs.
