Meeting General Education requirements through MACRAO

Eastern Michigan University is a signatory of the MACRAO (Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Officers) agreement. This agreement ensures that students who complete a specified plan of general education courses at a community college have satisfied the general education requirements at any four-year college that is signatory to the agreement.

Eastern Michigan University accepts the MACRAO agreement from transfer students who have been certified by a community college that is part of MACRAO. Please contact us to find out whether your community college is signatory to this agreement.
