On-Site Admissions

If you are someone who wants to know right away if you'll be admitted to EMU as an undergraduate student, consider an on-site admission decision.

On-site admission appointments can be combined with any of our visit programs. To meet with a counselor and get an admissions decision, you will need to bring a completed application, fee, and all required official transcripts (in a sealed envelope from the institution). Incoming freshmen also need score from their ACT or SAT tests to be admitted. You may have had these sent to EMU when you took the test or they may be on your high school transcript. You can call EMU to see if your score is here or ask your high school guidance counselor to make sure it is on your high school transcript.

While you are touring campus, one of our counselors will review your transcripts and make an admission decision. After your tour, you can meet with the admission counselor to learn your admission decision.

Let us know when you make your reservation
that you would like an on-site admission decision.

Of course, you don't have to wait for a visit program for an on-site admission appointment. Our admission counselors meet with students daily. Once you have gathered all the necessary materials needed for a decision, call 800-GO-TO-EMU (800.468.6368) and schedule your on-site admission appointment.
