Campus Visits - Tours

Daily Tours

When classes are in session, campus tours are scheduled Monday-Thursday during the morning and afternoon, Friday mornings and on select Saturdays at 10 a.m. Summer tour options vary.

Every campus tour will provide you with an opportunity to meet with and hear from our Admissions staff and take a 90-minute walking tour of campus. Your tour will include visits to the Student Center, residence halls and rooms, main classroom buildings, Halle Library, the Olds Recreation Intramural building and other campus areas that interest your group. Weekday morning tours include free lunch, additional interaction with EMU students and staff, and typically concludes around 1 p.m. Register for a daily campus tour by calling our Admissions Welcome Center at 734.487.6453 or by clicking the "Schedule Your Visit" button in the upper right-hand corner.

Group Tours

Group tours are available for parties of 7 to 150 students in grade 9 and above.  When classes are in session, group tours are offered on Monday through Friday at 10 a.m., or by special request.  To request a group tour or to request additional information, please fill out our online Group Tours Request form.  Due to high demand, group tour dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and only one tour can be accommodated on available dates.  Please request your visit date at least 2 weeks in advance to allow sufficient planning.

Tours for Honors students

The Honors College holds information sessions and tours to showcase its features for highly-qualified and motivated EMU students. Prospective students and families will meet honors students, faculty, and staff. Tours include lunch in The Commons and a visit to Downing Hall, one of the Honors residence halls. When classes are in session, Honors Tours are offered every Friday at 11 a.m.

Register for an Honors Tour today by calling our Admissions Welcome Center at 734.487.6453 or by registering online.
