"The Honors College" Campus Tours

The Honors College will be holding information sessions and tours to showcase what awaits highly-qualified and motivated students at Eastern Michigan University. Prospective students and families will have the chance to meet Honors students, faculty, and staff, and also tour the Honors residence hall, Downing Hall.

There are approximately 1,000 Honors students at EMU, and they receive a rich educational experience marked by originality, critical thinking, intellectual diversity, and academic excellence. The Honors experience provides outstanding preparation for careers and graduate study through smaller classes with fellow Honors students, and close relationships with EMU faculty. Honors students also receive priority registration, and also can apply for scholarships, which are available only to Honors students.

Highly competitive graduating high school seniors will have a minimum 3.50 GPA and 25 Cumulative ACT score; however, others who have other types of exceptional qualifications are encouraged to contact the Honors College for alternative application processes.

We look forward to meeting you, and sharing how you can begin your Honors experience at EMU!

Call 800.GO.TO.EMU or Register online today to reserve your spot!

Groups including 10 or more students are encouraged to check out our Group Tour option.

*Tours are not offered during final exam weeks, semester breaks, or when the University is closed.
