Dinner with 12 Strangers - Host sign-up

Dinner with 12 Strangers logoDinner with 12 Strangers is a popular and fun program at EMU bringing together our alumni, students, faculty and staff. Local alumni serve as dinner hosts, creating a vehicle to help strengthen the University network through new friendships.

Host participation is limited to the Ypsilanti and surrounding areas to minimize transportation challenges for students. If you live outside the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area and would like to be involved, we hope you will consider co-hosting. A co-host typically helps with meal expense and preparation, interaction with guests and clean-up. You may also host a dinner at a local restaurant. To be a host or co-host, simply submit the below registration form.

All alumni participants must be current members of the EMU Alumni Association, so if you’re not a member, call 734.487.0250 first to join or sign-up online. There is no charge for membership.
