Alumni Association Board Nomination Form

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Alumni Association Board of Directors. The nomination form below provides the Nominating Committee valuable information about your qualifications to serve as a Board member. Please complete the form below and upload a current resume for the Nominating Committee's review. Clear, detailed responses are appreciated.

To be considered for the 2014 elections, please submit all application materials prior to Friday, January 24, 2014. Following an interview process, some nominees will be invited to speak about their qualifications at the Saturday, March 22, 2014 Alumni Association Board of Directors meeting. Early applications are encouraged.

Each nominee will receive an e-mail and/or letter from the President-elect acknowledging receipt of their application and outlining the next steps in the process.

Being a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors requires three specific commitments:

  • Participate in four (4) Saturday board meetings.
  • Participate in three (3) Alumni Association or Foundation events each year.
  • Make a financial contribution of $125 per year (minimum) to the EMU Foundation to a program or cause of your choice. A $25 credit will be applied if you have an EMU license plate.
