Chicago alumni and friends social: The Office for Alumni Relations and Chicago Alumni Chapter team up to host an alumni and friends social in Chicago, Ill., Thursday, Nov. 1. The hors d'oeuvres reception is from 6-8 p.m. at InterContinental Chicago (505 N. Michigan Ave.). The cost is $15 per person. Eagle Nation Fall Sports Luncheon: Get an inside look at EMU football, volleyball, soccer and basketball programs at the Eagle Nation Fall Sports Luncheon, Thursday, Nov. 8 at noon in the Convocation Center atrium. Tickets are $10 per person and available at the door. A free shuttle bus will run from campus with pickup at 11:45 a.m. from the Marshall Building, returning by 1:30 p.m. Learn more
Alumni Association Board meeting: The Alumni Association Board of Directors will meet Saturday, Nov. 10, at 9 a.m. in the EMU Foundation Building.
Real Life program: Students will tap into alumni experience at the Real Life Careers in Psychology program, Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m. in the Student Center’s Kiva Room. The event is hosted by the Office for Alumni Relations Office and Career Services Center with the help of the Student Organization for Alumni Relations (SOAR). A panel of EMU alumni will answer students' questions about what courses to take, internships to acquire and skills needed to succeed in careers in Psychology. Accounting Alumni reception: The Accounting Alumni Chapter is hosting a networking reception Tuesday, Nov. 20. The 28th annual event is from 6-10 p.m. at the Livonia Marriott (17100 N.
