AART Outreach Event: EMU will host a luncheon for teachers and staff from Plymouth, Plymouth Salem and Plymouth Canton High Schools. EMU Admissions staff and EMU Alumni Relations staff will be on hand to provide information about EMU's programs and reconnect with alumni working in these schools. Columbus Alumni Chapter Football Watch Party: Alumni in Columbus are invited to a Football Watch Party on Thursday, Nov. 5 as the EMU Eagles take on the Northern Illinois Huskies. The party will take place at Buffalo Wings and Rings restaurant/sports bar in Lewis Center (8661 Columbus Pike--US Route 23). Game time is 7:30 p.m. Purchases of food and beverage are the responsibility of those attending, but there will be plenty of EMU spirit items for all alumni and friends! Columbus Alumni Chapter Social: The EMU Office for Alumni Relations invites you to join fellow EMU alumni in the fun, eclectic, and casual atmosphere of Alex’s Bistro (4681 Reed Rd Columbus, OH) for a hors d'oeuvres reception. Walk into Alex’s and experience a smaller version of Bofinger – the oldest brasserie in Paris. The event will begin at 6 p.m. Friends and guests are welcome to attend. Alumni Association Board of Directors Meeting: The Alumni Association Board of Directors will meet Saturday, November 14, at 9 a.m. in the EMU Foundation Building.

E-Club Alumni Chapter E-Room: E-Club members and up to three guests are welcome to enjoy the camaraderie of the E-Room at Rynearson Stadium at halftime of every home football game. Membership cards will be checked at the top of the ramp to the E-Room and you can purchase or renew your membership at each of the games.

30th Annual Accounting Alumni Chapter Networking Reception: The Accounting Alumni Chapter is hosting a networking reception Friday, Nov. 20, from 6 – 9 p.m., at the Livonia Marriott (17100 N. Laurel Park Dr.). Tickets are $20 includes hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Current EMU Accounting and Finance students may attend at no cost. The program will include keynote speaker Jerry Grady (BBA85), CPA, Managing Director of UHYT Advisors in Michigan and Partner with UHY, LLP. Second Annual "Lights Before Christmas": Experience holiday magic at the Toledo Zoo Saturday, Nov. 21. Enjoy warm beverages and cookies while touring the amazing displays featuring one million lights with over 200 animal images, carolers, model trains and Santa Claus himself. Children of all ages are welcome at this holiday event. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children and includes zoo admission, parking, admission to our hospitality station and a small gift for children 12 and under. Reservations are required by Nov. 17.
