Alumni Career Connection program
Since 2003, the EMU Office for Alumni Relations, in collaboration with the Career Services Center, has offered the Career Connections Program as a networking resource that brings Eastern Michigan University students and alumni together to explore the world of work.
The goals of the Alumni Career Connection are simple:
- Allow students the opportunity to learn about career fields through interaction with alumni.
- Make students aware of services provided to them by both the Career Services Center and the Office for Alumni Relations.
- Increase involvement of alumni with Eastern Michigan University by giving them an opportunity to volunteer.
Students can benefit from interacting with alumni by gaining a better understanding of what it means to work in a particular career field. Alumni can provide students with important knowledge in this process by sharing their own experiences.
