Level Two - On-site Contact
- Students and alumni meet in person for a more in-depth discussion of the graduate's career field. This may take the form of an informational interview at the graduate's company (or elsewhere) or a job shadowing experience lasting all or part of a day.
- Duration and frequency of contact, as well as the nature of the contact (informational interview or job shadowing) are determined by the graduate's preferences; we will do our best to match you with someone who is interested in the same level of contact as you are.
How does the program work?
- Students can click here to register for the program.
- After you complete your online registration form, the Career Services Center will send you a letter of welcome and a questionnaire detailing your interests.
- Once we receive your completed questionnaire, we will enter you into our database and give you the names and contact information of up to three alumni who match your career interest. It is up to you to contact the alumni on your list.
- Along with the names of your alumni matches, we will also send you some tips for interacting with alumni through this program and using Alumni Career Connection to your full advantage.
- If there isn't a graduate in the database who matches your career interest and is willing to have on-site contact with a student at this time, we will notify you of this and will contact you as soon as we are able to make a match.
