Chapter's Mission:
The primary purpose of the Eastern Michigan University Alumni Association, Black Alumni Chapter (EMUBA) is to provide students at Eastern Michigan University with financial assistance in the form of scholarship awards.
EMUBA will provide such assistance, placing special emphasis on the needs of African-American and other minority students as they pursue a degree at EMU.
EMUBA will endeavor to assist students with assimilation into the professional arena and by example foster in them a continuing sense of civic and community pride, as well as compel them to develop a life-long association with Eastern Michigan University through the Black Alumni Chapter.
EMUBA also aims to encourage pre-college students in their pursuit of higher education and will recruit and/or fully support the University's recruitment efforts of such prospective candidates for admission to Eastern Michigan University.
Chapter Membership Fee: $30 per year
