Eastern Michigan University Alumni Relations Announces Alumni Tailgate Schedule

In part of an ongoing effort to keep Eastern Michigan University alumni connected to the university and to each other, the EMU Office for Alumni Relations is hosting six home Alumni Tailgates at EMU's Rynearson Stadium. The alumni tailgates are the place to be. You can socialize with friends, be entertained and show your green and white spirit. These events will be a celebration for alumni, families, friends and fans to connect with each other and cheer on the Eagles in an EMU spirited environment.

The home tailgate season starts on September 3, as the EMU Eagles prepare to take on the Howard Bison. The tailgate will start at 5 p.m. and continue until kickoff at 7 p.m. All tailgates will be located by the main entrance on the west side of Rynearson Stadium. Tailgate and games times are subject to change.

Mark your calendars to attend the alumni tailgates.

  • Saturday, September 3 vs. Howard at Rynearson, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

  • Saturday, September 10 vs. Alabama State at Rynearson, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

  • Saturday, October 1 vs. Akron at Rynearson, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

  • Saturday, October 22 vs. Western Michigan (HOMECOMING) at Rynearson, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

  • Saturday, November 5 vs. Ball State at Rynearson, 10 a.m. - 12 Noon

  • Saturday, November 12 vs. Buffalo at Rynearson, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
