Do you have children? How many? No
How did you meet? Neil and I met through mutual friends in Downing hall our freshmen year. We had hung out in group settings a few times, but we hadn't really talked up to that point. One night, at a Downing game night dubbed the "DZone," Neil and I actually sat down and talked for the first time. Over the next few weeks, we began to hang out and have late night conversations in the Downing Lounge until Neil asked me out on our first date to Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor. From there, the rest is history, until he proposed our junior year.
Where was your first date? Our first date was at Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor.
Any cute memories you have together at Eastern? Neil asked me out for the first time in Downing, saying, "I bought something when I went home today, but it's only for someone who wants to be my girlfriend." He then pulled out chocolates and flowers from behind his back. 2 years later, in the Village, Neil, while holding something behind his back said, "I bought something when I went home today, but it's only for someone who wants to be my wife." He then pulled out chocolates, flowers, and a ring.
If married/engaged did they propose on campus? If so where? Yes, Neil proposed to me in the Village our Junior year. We got married a week after we both celebrated our graduation from EMU.
Years attended Eastern: September 2008 - April 2012
