Sun-soaked beaches, exotic rainforests, and luxurious resorts are on the schedule for the upcoming alumni trip to Costa Rica. This trip is the first to be hosted by the Alumni Association in four years, and features a promising itinerary.

Pricing starts at $2,449 per person (based on double occupacy). That amount covers round trip air fare, lodging, eight breakfasts, and six dinners.

Costa Rica, Collette Vacations

During the vacation, travelers will experience four different locations including San Jose, Tamarindo Beach Resort in Guanacaste, Monteverde, and the Arenal Springs Resort.

The journey begins in San Jose, then a visit to the Doka Coffee Estate in Tamarindo Beach. Here travelers can tour Doka Coffee and sample some of the finest brew in the world, or layout on the warm sand of Tamarindo Beach. In addition to relaxing on the beach, and fun in the resorts, thrilling excursions have been planned throughout the eight days spent on the island. Travelers will visit one of the only "cloud forests" on the planet and witness firsthand the phenomenon of this misty, mountain-forest. For the adventurers, on day seven, a journey to Cano Negro Nature Preserve has been scheduled. This 20,000 acre preserve will be explored from inside a Panga (a covered canoe). Along the way, tour-goers will see up-close the largest viewable selection of native wildlife in all of Costa Rica.

Additionally, there is an optional three-night "Jungle Adventure" extension available.

Whether you prefer relaxing, exploring, learning, dining, or would simply like a complete cultural experience, it can all be accomplished this coming February with the Alumni Association trip to Costa Rica.
