What's the Student Organization for Alumni Relations?

The Student Organization for Alumni Relations (SOAR) was established to benefit students enrolled at Eastern Michigan University and to help build lasting bonds between students, faculty and alumni of EMU. Check out some pictures of our good times.

The goal of the Student Organization for Alumni Relations is to help EMU students realize that involvement is not only fun, but can also be a lifelong experience. Under the direction of the Alumni Relations Office, SOAR shares its pride, enthusiasm and ideas to help EMU students have more pride in our great university.

Don't I have to graduate first?

Nope! Students from all classes and majors are invited to come and join SOAR committees and volunteer on any of our special projects throughout the year. Programs organized by the Student Organization for Alumni Relations benefit students, faculty and alumni of Eastern Michigan University.
