Megan McIntosh
Megan McIntosh
Undergraduate Award Recipient

Megan is an EMU Legacy from Milan, Michigan and a 2013 graduate of Milan High School. While in high school, Megan excelled academically, retaining a 3.96 GPA and achieving Honor Roll status all four years. She also received recognition awards from the Milan Center for Innovative Studies for her individual project which focused on "Making the Disabled Able." Megan has served as a basketball manager in her school for the last 3 years, and is a member of the National Honor Society.


Kara Miciek

Undergraduate Award Recipient

EMU Legacy Kara draws inspiration from her grandmother and mother, both EMU alumni. Kara currently lives in Brighton, Michigan and is graduating from Brighton High School with an Academic Achievement Letter, Scholar Athlete Award, and National Honor Society Status. She has also dedicated over 120 hours of service to Spring Hills Camp Teen Service Team. Kara plans to one day become a fashion merchandiser and apparel and textile marketer.


Kadie Tower
Undergraduate Award Recipient

Kadie is a current Clinton resident. One of her life goals is, "to work hard in everything I do to be the best I can be..." So far, she has accomplished her goal. Kadie is coming to EMU with a 4.0, and is graduating Valedictorian of her 2013 class at Clinton High School. She is also secretary for the National Honor Society and leads both the Polar Bear Running Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Both Kadie's mother and father attended EMU.


Chris Savvides
Christopher Savvides
Undergraduate Award Recipient

One of Christopher Savvides's earliest memories is hearing the music of the EMU marching band echoing through his neighborhood. Christopher's parents met at EMU, graduated, and planted their family close to campus. Christopher is part of EMU's ECA program, and is getting a head start on his collegiate education. He holds Honor Role status and has been repetitively on the Dean's List at EMU. He has also won a Martin Luther King Jr. Essay award, Math Student of the Year Award, and Co-Captain of the Lacrosse team. Christopher is currently majoring in biology at EMU, and plays for the marching band he so fondly remembers.
