The Academic Projects Center: Photo by Sabrena Clark, Technology Consultant
The Academic Projects Center, a service facility which offers one-to-one writing, research, commumnication, and technology assistance, is a collaboration between the University Library, Division of Information Technology, the University Writing Center, and the Writing Across the Curriculum and First Year Writing Programs.
The APC offers point-of-need help with research, writing, communication, and technology to students working on research papers and other academic projects. University Writing Center consultants, Halle Librarians, communication consultants, and technologists work together in the Center to provide project-oriented support. Although students are a primary audience, the facility and its services are open to the entire EMU community.
The APC is closed until the fall semester. During the summer semester, writing consultations are available in the University Writing Center, and research consultations are available by asking at the library Information Desk or through Ask a Librarian.
