Bio: Guey-Meei Yang was born in TaiChung, Taiwan. She received a BA from National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei, Taiwan, and a MA and PhD in Art Education from The Ohio State University. She began teaching at EMU in 2003. Recent publications, exhibitions and/or presentations:
Artist Statement: I am interested in creative and critical applications of computer technology in visual arts education and issues related to cross-cultural and multicultural art education to improve mutual understanding between people of various backgrounds. My current research project centers on the intersection of computer technology and cross-cultural interaction through visuals and texts.
