Artist Statement:
Mostly I draw because I like to make marks . . . images used form composites of personal reflections which allude to religious and social aspects of a rural life and a distinct cultural upbringing to imply a “sense of place” . . . snapshot impressions draw out fleeting memories to symbolize the cycle of life and experiences that come and go . . . meaningful places once again become space.
