Artist Statement:

I believe designers serve as critics of contemporary culture. The social, political, economic, technological and visual norms are under suspect. Design is no longer simply a service subject to commodification, its role is always to be questioned. New forms evolve when the designer exposes the cracks and fissures of the current norm, twists expectations, stimulates thought, and uses visual language to subvert, empower, and change.
