IMPORTANT NOTE: The Biology Department has renumbered all of its courses so that all courses will have a BIO or BIOT prefix.The new course numbers are listed in the 2009-2011 course catalog but will not appear in the course schedule until winter 2010. Courses with a BIOT prefix will not count toward a biology major or minor. The list below reflects both the new and the old course numbers. Please contact the department (mlaporte@emich.edu) if you have questions about these changes.

Below is the planned schedule of course offerings designed for pre-service and in-service teachers for the next four years. This schedule is subject to change based on instructor availability, but is an accurate representation of anticipated course offerings for our graduate programs. When we are unable to offer a specific course, we will attempt to provide a suitable alternative. Please contact the department (mlaporte@emich.edu) if you have questions about these offerings. Courses marked FL will be offered at our Fish Lake Field Station. See the Fish Lake website for a full listing of spring-summer 2009 courses. We will be offering a variety of special topics courses intended for in-service teachers.
