 EMU Biology Terrestrial and Aquatic Ecology Research Facility The Terrestrial and Aquatic Ecology Reseach Facility (TAERF) is a state-of-the-art laboratory/greenhouse facilty. The TAERF contains two laboratories, one dedicated to terrestrial ecology research, the other set up for aquatic research. In addition to the laboratories is a greenhouse, which is used to grow plants for ecology research projects, as well as for student class projects (as shown below).
