Financial Assistance for Graduate Students in Biology at EMU:
Financial Assistance is available on a competitive basis to qualified students through the following mechanisms:
Teaching Assistantship
- Covers the cost of tuition (up to 18 credit hours/academic year)
- Provides a monetary stipend (call or email for details)
- Provides valuable teaching experience
Research Awards
- Made available through a generous endowment from Ms. Meta Hellwig
- Up to $500 available for special study projects
- Up to $4000 available for thesis research
