ENVIRONMENTAL BIOLOGY STUDIES MINOR PROGRAM OF STUDY
The minor in environmental studies has been designed for the non-science major who has a personal or professional interest in environmental aspects of biology. The primary goal of the minor is to provide prospective students with a basic foundation and understanding in environmental biology, and the pressing environmental issues that will face the human population in the 21st century. Students enrolled in this minor will be exposed to major themes of environmental biology (e.g. ecology, conservation and wildlife biology, aquatic and terrestrial biology and biology of plants and animals).
This minor is not open to biology majors or to earth science majors. In addition to the requirements for the major and general education requirements, all environmental biology studies minors need to complete:
