DEADLINE EXTENDED: July 15, 2013 at 11:59 p.m.
The Delores Soderquist Brehm Center for Special Education Scholarship and Research at Eastern Michigan University is dedicated to creating transformational research and the next generation of leaders in special education. The scholars' at the Brehm Center research explores best and emerging practices in special education. An annual presentation occurs at the Brehm Symposium where each scholar presents their year's work. For the first time in 2013, this annual symposium is expanded into a full day conference at the EMU Student Center hosted by The Delores Soderquist Brehm Center for Special Education Scholarship and Research and EMU Brehm Alumni Association.
The conference will take place at the Eastern Michigan University Student Center, November 9th, 2013. We seek university students, faculty, and community members who are doing innovative research and work aimed at building inclusive societies. The goal of the conference is to generate conversations about how we can build societies that are inclusive of all. Please consider submitting a presentation and forwarding this call for papers to anyone you think may be interested in participating in this event.
