The Business Systems Support department is led by the Director of Business Systems Support. The department:
- Manages the division's desktop support activities
- Provides liaison services for the Business and Finance division to the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) administrators to achieve university, division and unit goals
- Primary areas of responsibility include Office of the Controller, Purchasing, Business Services and University Budget administrative systems
- Directs the planning and improvement of administrative applications as they relate to Business and Finance and their impact to the division's services and functions
- Supports business applications including those housed in the SunGard Higher Education ERP suite, third party and bolt-on applications
- Oversees the administration of security and scheduling functions for assigned business applications and modules
- Provides reporting for administrative university systems
