It's 1939 southeast Missouri...sharecroppers, racism and unfair working conditions. Two young girls form a secret friendship despite the odds that surround them. Performances of this world premiere staged reading are Jan. 25, 26 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 27 at 2 p.m.
