EMU GREEN Tent at the Heritage Festival

From 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Riverside Park in Depot Town, Ypsilanti

Visit the GREEN tent sponsored by the City of Ypsilanti & EMU. Visit with folks from the Huron River Watershed Council, sustainably focused vendors, MIDEQ and the Washtenaw County Solid Waste coordinator and learn more about how you can contribute. They will have educational displays, workshops and children’s activities such as painting and a butterfly tent. The GREEN tent will be located on the southeast end of the festival, near the river and Native American Encampment. Hope to see you there!

NASA - Journey to Tomorrow Exhibit

Science Complex

The Journey to Tomorrow exhibit is provided by NASA's Glenn Research Center. It is housed in a 53 foot air conditioned, wheelchair accessible trailer. The exhibit contains 10 fun and educational activities.

***WEATHER PERMITTING*** Sherzer Observatory will be open to the public for observing of astronomical objects. University Astronomers and EMU Astronomy Club members will be on hand to guide you through the night time sky. Elevator to 4th floor only.
