“Non-Text” calls into question the Western cultural assumption that textual content is necessarily the primary and most efficient communication medium. The work in “Non-Text” employs text, typography, or writing to create aesthetic forms.

Instrumentalists in grades 9-12 are invited to spend an enriching day on campus with EMU Wind and Percussion Faculty. While on campus, students can also audition for the 2013 EMU Honors Band (held January 10-12). Concludes with annual BANDORAMA concert.
