You'll find it's much easier to plan for due dates, events, and anything else that comes up when you carry a planner.
- Students receive a free planner in their New Student Orientation packet.
- If you don't have one, get one. They're cheap.
- $4.99 gets you a simple one.
- $5.99 or more gets you one with hearts or football pictures.
- Pick the right planner
- Some are pocket-sized, or notebook-sized.
- Some are dated, some need dates filled in.
- Some show months only, some each day.
- Some have tons of space to write, some enough for quick notes.
- Some are electronic. These are usually more expensive.
- Enter all due dates for assignments, papers and exam dates from your class syllabi.
- As the semester progresses, enter any changes to the syllabi.
- You may want to color code. For example
- Blue for reading.
- Yellow for assignments and papers.
- Pink for tests, quizzes, and exams.
- Orange for extra-curricular.
- Look ahead every day, so you're prepared for what's next.
