Kee Yung YangProfessor Kee Yung Yang from Sookmyung University in Seoul, Korea, has established herself as an international soprano. Teaching at Sookmyung University since 1996, Professor Yang has performed throughout Russia, Eastern Europe, Italy, and South Korea.

She was the winner of the Nostro Vicenzo International Singing Competition, the Varese Viotti International singing Competition, the Nostro Vincenzo Concorsco and the Varese Viotti Concorso in Italy, and the Pushikin Artist Prize, the Pushikin International Festiva, the Volsky Award and the Tatarstan Award in Russia. In addition to her formal education at Sookmyung University, Professor Yang spent 3 years in the mid-1990s in Milano, Italy at the Conservatorio di Musica "Giuseppe Verdi" and the Civica State Academy.

It is not a surprise that Professor Yang has been a guest soloist at too many performances to mention here. Suffice it to say she has sung with the Philharmonic Orchestras in Russia, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, South Korea, Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, and Austria. "La Traviata" and "Die Zauberfloete" are the two most popular operatic performances she has sung around the world.
