Richard “Mike” Collett is a senior accountant with Eastern Michigan University’s (EMU’s) Charter Schools Office. Mr. Collett has been in this position since 2001, and with EMU since 2000.

Mr. Collett’s educational background includes a B.S. degree in education from Central Michigan University. Mike has a Master of Science degree in accounting from EMU.

Mike’s professional experience includes a number of years as an accountant and auditor in both the private and public sectors. Mike’s duties at EMU’s Charter Schools Office include monitoring financial and regulatory compliance of our charter schools. Mr. Collett provides our charter schools with a significant amount of direct technical support to help ensure their compliance.
